The form and the log

The estimate form has six fields: a first name, a last name, a phone number, an email address you may leave blank, the concrete service you want from a list, and a box for describing the job, where an address, a gate width or a note about the pool usually ends up. The web server writes one line per page served: the IP address, the browser, the page and the time. There is nothing else. No account, no password, no mailing list.

What we do with it

The form entry is how we call you back, book the visit, and write the estimate Scott Ferreira hands you at the property. If the pour goes ahead it becomes the job record, holding what was poured at the address, how thick, on what base and on what date, which is what a guarantee claim is settled against. The server log is read only to keep the site up and to notice abuse of the form. Nothing you send is sold or used to advertise.

Who reads it, and who cannot

Inside the business, Scott Ferreira, who measures and writes the estimate, and the crew booked for your pour. Outside it, the company that hosts this website and the companies that carry our email, calls and texts, each acting only on our instructions. When a permit is filed, the address and the scope go to the City of Huntington Beach. A public authority gets information only where the law requires it, and nobody buys it.

Cookies, scripts and links

This website sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics and loads no advertising or tracking script, so there is no banner to accept and nothing here follows you to the next site you open. Three kinds of link leave the site: the button to the map of the office on Edinger Avenue, the links to the review platforms beside the reviews, and the links to the City and other public bodies. From that click the other site's policy applies.

How long each record stays

A form entry that does not become a job is deleted 18 months after the last message about it, which is time to see a pool deck through two summers and decide. A job record is kept for 10 years from the pour, the time California allows for a claim over a hidden defect in construction, so it outlasts the workmanship guarantee that leans on it. The server log is cleared every 7 days, because a week is enough to trace a fault.

Seeing, fixing and deleting

Ask by phone or by email to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, and we answer within 1 business day. Reply STOP to any text and no more are sent; say on a call that you want no more calls and the number is marked that day. A resident of California also has, under the California Consumer Privacy Act, the right to know what a business has collected and to have it deleted, exercised the same two ways.

Anyone under 18

This website and the work it describes are for adults who own or manage a property, and nothing on it is written for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. The form does not ask an age, because pouring a slab is not something a minor arranges, but if it turns out an entry came from someone under 18 it is deleted with everything in it, no visit is booked and the sender is not contacted again.

This policy is updated when the site or the way a record is handled changes, and the version on this page is the current one; the date in the opening paragraph is the date of that version.
