The business behind this site

Goldenwest Huntington Beach Concrete is a concrete contractor working from 7777 Edinger Ave in Huntington Beach, CA. Scott Ferreira runs it and holds its CSLB C-8 license with the California Contractors State License Board. The business publishes this website, reads what the form sends, and is the only party you deal with, from the call back to the walk-through on the finished slab. These terms apply to every page on this domain and to any estimate that begins with it.

How an estimate is given

In writing, at your property, after the job is measured, and free. Every estimate is measured and written on site, because the depth of the old slab, the state of the sand under it and the route a pump or a barrow takes to the back of the lot cannot be read from a photograph. No page on this website is a quotation or an offer, and neither is anything said on the phone. The estimate holds for 45 days from the date written on it. After that we measure again.

Sending the form

Sending the estimate form lets Goldenwest Huntington Beach Concrete contact you at the phone number you typed, and at the email address if you filled that box, by call, by text message and by email, about the work you described. That reply comes within 1 business day. Agreeing to be contacted is not a condition of hiring us or of buying anything. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, or call or email to withdraw consent.

Reading, linking and copying

Read any page and link to it from wherever you like. The words and the photographs are ours, so they are not to be copied onto another website, lifted into an advertisement or passed off as another contractor's work, and the form is for a genuine inquiry about concrete at a property in or around Huntington Beach, not for pitches to us. The pages describe how we generally work on the sand and the 1960s tracts here, and a page may change without notice as that practice does.

Every project photograph and the caption under it is a job this crew finished, with the area and the thickness that were poured. It shows what the work looks like when it is done, not what yours will need, because what sits under the old slab, whether a capped oil well has to be located before anyone digs, and the design agreed in your written estimate all change a job. Each review is the customer's own words, published on the platform named beside it and not edited here.

The license and the guarantee

The license is CSLB C-8, held with the California Contractors State License Board and checkable by business name at cslb.ca.gov. We carry liability insurance on every job. Every job leaves with a written workmanship guarantee, and the estimate you sign names what it covers. It does not cover sand or fill settling under the slab, a load the slab was not poured for, salt damage on a surface left unsealed against our advice, or wear. To claim, call the number on the estimate.

Permits, payment and the law

The written estimate and the contract that follows it govern the work. This website is provided as it is, and we are not liable for loss from relying on its general pages. Where the job needs a permit from Public Works or the City, we file it and build its review time into the start date. The contract sets a deposit within the cap California puts on home improvement work, and the balance after the walk-through. California law applies, and Orange County hears a dispute.

These terms move when the way we work moves, and the version on this page is the one that applies; the date in the opening paragraph is the date of that version.
